  - Water Repellents
    WATER REPELLENTS
    
    Durable water repellents (DWRs) and stain-resistant agents represent a growing part of our finish business at Bolger & O’Hearn and we offer many different types. Our newest DWR, Shell-Tech Free is an advanced fluorine-free durable water repellent that provides the same repellency and wash durability as a quality C-6, but with significantly less environmental impact. OminBloq(TM), provides advanced Stormproof/Breathable water repellency that goes far beyond that of typical DWRs. Altopel F3 is our most recent breakthrough in green chemistry and it provides all the water repellency of a C6, yet is fluorine-free. Shell Tech 6 Elite is one of our premium DWR lines. It yields a 100 spray/#6 oil rating on synthetics after 100 home launderings and is the ideal choice for long-term protection.

    FLAME RETARDANTS
    
    Bolger & O’Hearn offers a variety of Flame Retardant (FR) finishes. This includes durable FR finishes for synthetics, high-performance systems for demanding applications and salt types for economical FR finishing.
    
    Our team of highly trained technical representatives are specialists in their field and would be pleased to discuss the application of our products in your process. We invite you to contact us with your specific requests.
  - Odor Control
    ODOR CONTROL
    
    Bolger & O’Hearn recently added the Odor Armor™ product line to our family of finishes for textile odor management. Odor Armor™ is designed to control and absorb odors. The active ingredient in Odor Armor™ rapidly absorbs and locks odors into Odor Armor’s core structures. Meanwhile, textiles treated with Odor Armor™ absorb and lock in body odors as well as external odors on contact.
    
    Odor Armor™ is available in different formulations that provide complementary effects such as moisture wicking and water repellency and can also be combined with antimicrobials to provide a powerful, synergistic “prevent and absorb” effect.
